A Master Gardener and former journalist, she is a free-lance writer for a variety of garden publications. Her interests aren't confined to horticulture, however. An eclectic artist, she enjoys experimenting with abstract, geometric, and whimsical primitive styles, incorporating odd materials such as glass and mirror shards, bits of metal, fabric, and other ephemera.
