Photography, Stoic-existential Lifescapes

I have no formal art education.  I studied history, philosophy, and law instead.  My passion for art comes from my Mother and from years spent hanging around street art shows and galleries.

My art reflects the jumbled nature of my being.  I am a visual artist, primarily working in various 2D media:  digital photography; mixed-media; and painting (primarily oil).  I describe my work as “stoic-existential lifescapes.”  Essentially, I look to depict the meaning and beauty of existence through ordinary and overlooked subjects.  I am a storyteller.  All of my work tells a story.  The challenge is to figure it out what the story means.
