Living in the colorful and historic town of Coupeville in the heart of Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve supplies endless inspiration for my contemporary watercolor art. Whidbey Island’s abundant farms, markets, roadside flower stands, local food and beaches all provide rich local subject matter. My paintings are distinguished by a lively mix of patterns, saturated colors and rich details. I combine watercolor, wax pastels, gouache and ink. My award-winning work has been featured in juried and solo shows as well as galleries across Whidbey Island, including Penn Cove Gallery where my work is available year-round.
