Natural fibers can be transformed in so many ways – the possibilities seem almost endless. As a weaver, spinner, felter, and “mother” of 20 alpacas, I have the opportunity to explore the amazing world of fiber arts – from warmly textured woven wools, to light and airy hand dyed silks, to hand-painted and hand-spun yarns - my world is alive with inspiration and my studio is a laboratory of experimentation and creation – always something new. Not to be outdone, the alpacas will be available for photo-ops. Learn about their amazing cashmere-like fiber that the ancient Incas called the "fiber of the gods".
