Art is the music of my soul. I fashion jewelry that makes my heart sing and celebrates the beauty surrounding me. My creations reflect nature, causes that move me, and my passion for the artistic process. I adore the challenge of the entire process; design, construction, finishing. I strive to sculpt the back of a piece as pretty as the front or to present an element of surprise. My media are metal clay and metals. I use texture extensively. I love the alchemy of clay turning to metal, the play of light in enamels and dichroic glass, and the exquisite charm of natural cabochons. Ultimately, I am nurtured through family and nature and gain inspiration from my many students.
