Paper, pen, graphite, pastel, brushes, oils and watercolor are tools I use to interpret the natural world of the Pacific North West. From the landscapes of prairie, sea and skies of Whidbey, to baby falcons high on a Seattle rooftop, I seek moments that escape words and blur lines between abstract and real. After 40 years of making art, I'm still after the darkness wedded to light and movement that gives a thing its life.
